Huis & Erf

Over the years, housing association Huis & Erf had built its own applications in dBase IV. Keeping their data in sync became harder and harder, so it decided to rebuild them in Visual Basic.

I mapped every dBase application and rebuilt them as one suite in Visual Basic 6 on SQL Server: the housing register, time registration, complaint registration, membership administration, inventory administration, rent charge checks, system administration and reports.

As a Software Developer, my responsibilities included:

• Mapping the existing dBase IV applications
• Designing and building the Visual Basic 6 suite on SQL Server
• Implementing and maintaining the suite at the client
